The Administrative Council of CEB (Council of Europe Development Bank) approved another EUR 15 million credit line to be granted to Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB). The aim is to facilitate the access to financing for the Bulgarian SMEs, to create new and to keep the already existing jobs.
BDB will allocate the financial resource of EUR 15 million to its already operating programmes. The funds will reach the Bulgarian business through direct investment loans.
Bulgarian Development Bank has negotiated over BGN 200 million long-term financial resource with international partners without guarantee from the sovereign, which will be used to finance projects of Bulgarian SMEs by the end of the year.
The Council of Europe Development Bank is BDB’s traditional partner. Up to now, the Bulgarian state bank has utilized successfully two credit lines of EUR 15 million each.
