Rumen Porozhanov and Garabed Minasyan enter the Supervisory Council of the Bulgarian Development Bank

Two new members of the BDB’s Supervisory Council were elected today at the financial institution General Meeting. These are Mr. Rumen Porozhanov and Professor Garabed Minasyan.

 

Rumen Porozhanov has a Master's degree in Economics. He has been working at the Ministry of Finance since 1992. Currently Mr. Porozhanov is Head of the Cabinet of the Minister of Finance Simeon Dyankov.

 

Professor Garabed Minasyan is a former member of the Steering Committee of the Bulgarian National Bank between 1997 - 2006. He is currently working at the Economical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Science.

 

The shareholders also decided the number of Supervisory Committee members to be reduced from 5 to 3 people. The third member of the Committee is the former General Executive Director of the European Investment Fund Mr. Francis Carpenter, who had this position until now too.
