The paintings exhibition of the artist Mihail Ankov will be shown in the Bulgarian Development Bank’s main hall. The exhibition’s motto is “Horizon: a fictional line of support”. The official opening is on Thursday, December 10th, and the art-lovers can visit the exhibition every business day until December 24th.
The Bulgarian artist will exhibit 17 paintings, composed in different genres and forms. The paintings are oriented towards the realistic art and the bright colours.
The Bulgarian Development Bank hosts Mihail Ankov’s exhibitions for the third time. In 2004 the financial institution’s hall exhibited the Christmas artwork “Encouragement: a Christmas Virtue". The second exhibition of the artist in the Bank, called “May” was exhibited in 2007.
Mihail Ankov has more than 30 one-man exhibitions. His paintings are present in private collections in the country and abroad – Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Paris, USA and others.
Illustrations of Emi Liya will also be exhibited in the BDB hall; the illustrations are created with colour pencils and accompany her children's book "Why, Oh Why One By One Is One?".
