Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) was granted a EUR 20 million loan from the International Investment Bank (IIB) for the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria. The Agreement was signed in Moscow by the Chairman of the Board of IIB Nikolai Kosov and the Chief Executive Officer of BDB Assen Yagodin and Executive Director Iliya Karanikolov. The funding is provided for a period of 7 years and can be used for direct lending to beneficiaries, as well as for financing of programs supporting Bulgarian business, implemented by commercial banks. BDB concluded the Agreement under very favorable terms.

BDB is ready to extend BGN 200 million for the small and medium business

Bulgarian Development Bank has available resources in the amount of almost BGN 200 million for the financing of projects of small and medium enterprises in the country until the end of 2012. This was announced by Andrey Genev, member of the MB of BDB, at a meeting with the business, organized together with Veliko Tarnovo municipality. The event was attended by the mayor of the former capital Mr.Daniel Panov. Upo successful completion of its budget goals for the current year, the Bank can attract similar amounts from international financial institutions during the next year.BDB and Veliko Tarnovo municipality organize a meeting for the small and medium business on 26 June

The meeting will take plate on 26 June (Tuesday) at 11:00 in the Ritual Hall of the Municipality. At the event will be presented opportunities for financing, encouragement and development of the business in he region.
