12 Banks Granted 242 Farming Credits in Two Months. CIBANK is the thirteenth bank, which signed an Agreement with the Bulgarian Development Bank

242 farming credits were granted by 12 commercial banks in May and June, 2009. The total value of the loans is a little more than 34 millions Leva. The Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) is granting the resources, intended for Bulgarian farmers funding. So far BDB has contracted credits for 77 millions Leva with the commercial banks. The information is up to June 30th, 2009.

 

CIBANK signed an agreement with the BDB in the end of June to grant credits of farmers. The credit line value is 3 millions Leva. This is the thirteenth bank, which will grant credits by the scheme. A signing with Pireos Bank is expected in June, the credit line will also be valued 3 millions Leva. The total value of contracted loans with commercial banks then will amount to 80 millions Leva.

So far credits were granted by ProCredit Bank, MKB Unionbank, Allianz, International Asset Bank, D Bank, FIB, CCB, Tokuda, UBB, Investbank, SG Expressbank and DSK Bank.

 

The thirteen commercial banks have granted 334 investment credits to small and medium enterprises by the end of June 2009. The total credits value is more than 202 millions Leva. The end users have absorbed nearly 148 millions Leva
